You can keep up with the activities of your friends and family by using WhatsApp Statuses. Periodically, some of your so-called "cool" pals may make status updates that you desire to save, forward, or use as a kind of proof. Regardless of the situation, here's how to extract pictures and videos from WhatsApp status updates.

WhatsApp features a secret folder named .statuses in your internal storage if you're using an Android smartphone. which, well, keeps track of every status you open and review. But at the end of the day, the app removes every status that was seen. Therefore, before the end of the day, you must copy them to other folders. This is the procedure.

- Tap the hamburger menu > Settings.
- Scroll down and toggle on the Show hidden files option.
- Go back to the home page, scroll down, and tap Internal Storage.
- Go to Android > Media > com.whatsapp > WhatsApp > Media.
- Tap the .Statuses folder and all the statuses you’ve opened for the day should appear there.
- Long press and select the ones you want to copy and paste into a new folder in the internal storage or DCIM > Camera.
Method 2: Use WhatSave (Android) to Download WhatsApp Status
