With the conclusion of The Boys Season 4, we now have some serious cliffhangers for The Boys Season 5 to anticipate. But The Boys has a recurrent institution that has served as the focal point for many events that have occurred there. I am referring to the Red River Institution, which we see in The Boys Season 4 Finale once again. So read on to learn what Red River in The Boys is!

Red River serves as a superpowered children's orphanage. When children in the world of The Boys learn they have superpowers, their parents are usually the first to fall prey. They are thus transported to Red River, where they learn how to harness their abilities, to ensure that they don't hurt anybody else. Vought International established Red River in 1965.The main character of Gen V, Marie Monroe, is a perfect example of this; she accidentally murdered her parents after learning she had the ability to manipulate blood with her thoughts. Victoria Neuman's daughter Zoe is also transported to Red River after her mother's murder at the hands of Butcher utilizing his newfound powers, and I'm thinking she'll make an appearance in Gen V Season 2.As we've previously seen, Zoe is a superpower, and her mouth is where her tentacles shoot out. Now, Zoe may have a significant part in Season 5 or Generation V, and she'll be seeking retribution for her mother's horrible murder in Season 4 of The Boys.Red River was previously referenced in The Boys Season 1 Teddy Stillwell, who was brought to Red River after Madelyn's death at the hands of Homelander. Then, in The Boys Seas 3, Hughie returned to Red River to look into Victoria/Nadia's history and her abilities.Red River will play a far larger part in The Boys world in 2022, according to Erik Kripke, who made this announcement in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. For that reason, I believe that much more significant work is being done behind those doors than we can ever imagine. Erik remarked, "This is not the last you will see of Red River," in his statement. Red River gradually expands into an intriguingly larger portion of The Boys' world. We'll keep you updated if any new information on Gen V Season 2 or The Boys Season 5 becomes available, so let's wait for The Boys Season 5 to release. Stay tuned till then!
