Intel 14th Gen: Raptor Lake Refresh vs. Core Ultra

On these specific CPUs, overall performance will take precedence above efficiency. New Core Ultra processors are likely to provide gaming laptops with much longer battery lives than alternatives like this Lenovo Legion 5 Pro with Intel 14th Gen Raptor Lake HX CPUs.Additionally, those Core Ultra computers will be more portable. Low Power Island, or LP E-core, is the newest core type from Intel, and it will be available for 14th Gen Core Ultra processors instead of this 14th Gen i9-14900HX.It is therefore not anticipated that new laptops equipped with 14th Gen Raptor Lake CPUs would provide significant advancements, in line with our previous observations on Intel 14th Gen desktop CPUs. Nevertheless, except from a few gaming laptops equipped with top-tier Intel 14th Gen Meteor Lake-based Core Ultra CPUs.In comparison to the Meteor-Lake based Core Ultra 5 & 7 processors, the Raptor Lake-based 14th gen CPUs (i9-14900HX & i7-14650HX) will provide greater core counts & higher power limits.According to Intel, the Core Ultra 9 185H has an unlocked power limit of up to 115W, which may be customized by the manufacturer. The unlocked power limit of this specific gaming laptop is unknown, however the i9-13950HX that we evaluated on a MSI Titan GT77 HX reached 157W...What do you think of this Lenovo Legion 5 Pro with Intel 14th Gen CPUs based on the Raptor Lake Refresh architecture and graphics from the Nvidia RTX 40 series?
