Wishlist for Features in Minecraft 1.22: 5 Items Mojang Needs To Include Next

The latest version of Minecraft 1.21 The Tricky Trials update has left us all impressed. It includes trial chambers to provide additional combat challenges in this copper building in addition to the useful new crafter block to automate making. But now that the latest version of 1.21 is out, we can't help but worry what will happen to 1.22 of Minecraft. I made the decision to sit down and compile a great wishlist of the items Mojang should include in the Minecraft 1.22 release after getting a lot of suggestions. Now let's get started!

1. Minecraft 1.22: End of Update?

I'm sure most Minecraft players would agree that this is the first and most popular request. One of the most incomplete features in Minecraft 1.22 is the End dimension, which needs an upgrade ASAP.It seems sense that this section, which is the final game, would be thrilling and packed with features, creatures, and biomes. When Minecraft 1.16 was launched in June 2020, the Nether was changed into a full and coherent dimension with both rewards and risks. 1.22 may be the Nether-like 1.16 upgrade that the End dimension has been waiting for.To be honest, I would appreciate anything that could be added to this dimension, although my primary recommendations would be along the lines of what Mojang achieved with the Nether upgrade. Thus, concentrate on the whole dimension, develop a theme for it, and assign distinct characters, mobs, and blocks to each biome inside this dimension. Moreover, add one or two additional buildings, such as the recently added trial chambers or the trail ruins from the previous year, which will hold helpful prizes.

2. Enhancements to Inventory

For a time now, inventory has been a hot topic in the Minecraft community. New updates just add fuel to the fire by adding additional blocks and things. With every update, we definitely desire more things and blocks, but we should prioritize fixing the growing issue of inventory management. Therefore, the feature that Mojang should improve and make more controllable in the Minecraft 1.22 update is the inventory. The things should be simple to sort and navigate. We've put together a list of suggestions to assist Mojang fix the inventory problems in Minecraft. Make sure to go over my recommendations and let me know what you think about them!

3. Updates on the Overworld Biome

There is just the Overworld dimension left, since the Nether biomes are excellent as they are and the End dimension need extensive renovation. For those who don't know, the majority of gamers reside in the Overworld, which is the primary dimension. There are fifty-three Overworld Minecraft biomes in all. and many of them are artistically beautiful, masterfully crafted, and perfectly capture the spirit of the game. Many biomes seem outdated and bland since they haven't been updated in a while. The desert, grasslands, woodland, taiga, savanna, mushroom island, and other biomes are a few of them.Fortunately, there are several really easy fixes for this, such adding more blocks, ambient effects, and a new landscape component like boulders. The makeover of Birch woodland was originally planned for the Minecraft 1.19 update, however it was canceled.

More tree variants, fallen logs, fresh mushrooms, pre-made trails, and an abundance of new greenery were all incorporated in the concept image. The Overworld would seem lot more alive if each biome in Minecraft 1.22 added a little item here and there.

4. Update on Mob AI & Animations

If you've ever attempted to move Minecraft mobs from one place to another, you are aware of how difficult it may be. The mobs either lose interest in you because you've wandered too far away, get caught on a block, or are unable to keep up.The AI of the creatures in Minecraft should also be improved with the 1.21 release. One of the best quality-of-life upgrades that Mojang can add would be to correct the mob AI, even if it could be a difficult task.

Most mobs, particularly the older ones, lack distinctive and interesting motions apart from the AI. To attempt to enhance them, there are Minecraft mods.In the most recent updates, Mojang did begin adding new animations to mobs, like as the camels and sniffers. But the more established gangs are left behind, with less information. They should get some affection as well as updated animations of their own in future releases.I think most people would enjoy this modification, even though it would influence how players see Minecraft overall.

5. Additional Mob and Block Variations

Most objects and creatures in Minecraft might need a visual update, in addition to having more intelligent enemies. Therefore, in Minecraft 1.22, it would probably be simpler to add new variations for already-existing monsters rather than creating whole new mobs and blocks. For blocks like ordinary soil, stone, and sand—which are mostly produced by rotating a single texture—this is already the case. But what if, when put in the environment, blocks like planks and other kinds of stone gave smooth and coarse variants that they would choose at random?

While the game wouldn't be much changed by these adjustments, you could more easily construct house builds that are aesthetically pleasing and give them a realistic touch. This would be particularly beneficial for leaves and crops, since it would give them a far more distinct personality. However, as most mobs just have one texture now, this update would be very beneficial to them. Additional mob skins, such as the new dog variants and horses, would also greatly enhance the world's realism and character.Having said that, those are the things I believe Mojang need to prioritize after the 1.21 release. Although the Minecraft community has come up with a ton of other fantastic ideas, these are important and straightforward solutions for major issues. What are your thoughts on my suggestions for the next Minecraft update?
