How The Boys Comic Comes to An End
The death of Homelander marked the end of the Boys Comics. You may now believe that the virus that killed Supe is to blame, but this is not at all the case. In the comics, Homelander plotted a coup to topple the US government and seize personal control of the nation. After eliminating the president, he was lounging about the Oval Office when Butcher arrived with a crowbar.
Just as they were about to fight, Black Noir appeared, revealing himself. To their astonishment, Black Noir was an identical replica of Homelander. According to Black Noir, Vought made him into a Homelander clone so that he could murder him if he ever lost control.
But Black Noir is so eager to murder Homelander that he carries out heinous acts, such as assaulting Butcher's wife while he is disguised as Homelander and taking self-portraits. Homelander began to think he was going insane, and finally he did, because there was photographic proof of the crimes and he could not remember doing any of them.
This infuriated Homelander, who then battled Black Noir. Black Noir, nevertheless, killed him. Because Black Noir had hurt himself so badly, Butcher practically popped his brains out with his Crowbar, murdering Black Noir in the process.
