How to Create Personalized WhatsApp Stickers

For iOS users, WhatsApp is already rolling out the feature that lets them make personalized stickers. Yes, you can now finally use the messaging app's image editor to make your own stickers. While this functionality has long been accessible on WhatsApp Web, it's fantastic that you can now use it directly from the mobile app. But it doesn't stop there. iPhone users of WhatsApp have the ability to modify and personalize their pre-existing stickers. So without further ado, let's see how simple it is to create personalized stickers on WhatsApp!

Create Your Own Stickers on WhatsApp
  • Head to the WhatsApp app and open the chat you want to send a custom sticker to.
  • Then, tap on the sticker icon that appears on the right of the message box.
  • Now, you will see a big blue plus (+) icon alongside your recently used stickers. Tap on it.
  • This will directly open your camera roll. Now, select the image that you want to use to make a sticker.
  • As soon as you select the picture, WhatsApp will automatically create a cut out of it.
  • Now, you can choose to add text, stickers, and emojis to further customize your sticker.
  • Once done, press the send icon and your custom sticker will be sent to the recipient.

You've now successfully made your first WhatsApp sticker. Now, to store your masterpiece for later use, touch on this sticker after it has been received and choose "Add to Favorites"!

Modify Current WhatsApp Stickers (iOS)

You can quickly modify a newly made sticker or an existing sticker on WhatsApp now that you know how to make stickers on the platform.

As a result, From WhatsApp's sticker library, long press on any produced sticker , then choose Edit Sticker. This will let you add text, emoticons, and other customizations to the sticker as much as you'd like. All that's left to do is click the transmit button.

Additionally, all you have to do to access the "Edit Sticker" option is tap on it if your buddy gives you a custom WhatsApp sticker. You may now use the sticker you just acquired to your advantage and help your buddy make a remarkable recovery. The ability to alter any sticker—whether it's one you make and receive or one from WhatsApp's native sticker library—is the nicest feature of the app's sticker creator.

And that's how you use WhatsApp to send personalized stickers. Android users should get the functionality soon enough, even if it is presently only available to iOS users. In particular, new text formatting tools are already in the process of being added to the platform. Furthermore, because the location of the sticker panel is the same on all platforms, when the functionality becomes available for Android users as well, it will resemble the iOS version.

You may not have updated the app to the most recent version if you are unable to see the large blue + symbol to make your own WhatsApp stickers. You'll notice it as soon as you update your WhatsApp for iOS app.

I also like how this totally eliminates the need for third-party sticker applications. But as with the online version, I really hope that WhatsApp lets us manually clip out photos to create stickers. Still, I have a good feeling that I will love using this tool and creating stickers from my friends' photos. How about you? Tell me in the comments section below!
