You Can Now Send Voice Messages That Disappear Using WhatsApp

WhatsApp's "View Once" feature has been extended to voice communications, in addition to the vanishing media sending and receiving options that it currently offers. For the purpose of privacy, you may use this to transmit disappearing voice notes.

While sending voice notes, a "one-time" icon will now be accessible. As with fading photographs and videos, you will need to choose it each time you want to send a disappearing voice message. The voice notes will vanish once they are listened to if this is enabled.

Voice notes are now more private with WhatsApp!

In the event that the audio messages are clandestine, this will enable you to speak with people more discreetly. Disappearing voice communications are end-to-end encrypted, much like WhatsApp messages. WhatsApp cautions users that audio communications may still be intercepted via "other" methods. For example, the voice messages may be recorded using the built-in screen recorder feature on an Android phone. Therefore, it's better to forward these mails to a reliable person!

View after voice messages cannot be heard again after they are delivered, and the “read receipts” option must be activated in order to determine if the receiver has accessed the message. It also reveals that voice messages that vanish will remain available for 14 days (if they haven't been accessed), after which they will vanish for good.

You may still report the vanishing voice notes and even media if you think they are improper, even though you won't be able to forward, save, star, or share them. If these mails are still unread while the backup is being performed, they may also be backed up.

In the next days, WhatsApp will begin to provide View Once voice messages worldwide. You may verify whether you have the functionality by updating WhatsApp and starting to send voice notes, which will now have a timer indicator next to them. I was able to utilize the feature on iOS (see the screenshot above). Please let us know what you think of this new WhatsApp feature in the comments section below. If you're still having trouble using it, don't worry—it should be available shortly.
