How to X (Twitter): Delete One or All Tweets

Do you regret clicking the "post" button? The only thing left to do is delete your tweets, whether it's because you made a mistake, changed your mind, or just want to take anything off of your timeline. That is, unless, of course, you can afford to purchase X Premium. We'll show you how to remove every tweet you've ever sent on the X website and mobile app in this article.

Remove A Single Twitter Remark

This one is quite simple. Here's how to erase a tweet or post on X's (formerly Twitter) mobile app and website if you realize you made a mistake.

Regarding Android
  1. On the X app, tap on your profile icon at the top left.
  2. Then select Profile from the sidebar.
  3. On your profile page, scroll down and find the post you want to delete.
  4. Then tap on the 3-dots icon at the top right of an unwanted tweet.
  5. Select Delete post.
  6. Tap on Delete in the confirmation pop-up.
Regarding iPhone
  1. Inside the X app on an iPhone, tap on your profile picture at the top left.
  2. Go to Profile, then on your timeline, scroll down and search for the tweet you want to delete.
  3. Once you’ve found it, tap on the 3-dots icon at the top right on the selected tweet.
  4. Select Delete post and tap on Delete in the confirmation pop-up.
Utilizing the Twitter Website
  1. On the X website, go to the Profile tab from the left sidebar.
  2. Then find the tweet that you want to remove.
  3. Click on the 3-dots icon next to the tweet itself.
  4. Now, click on the Delete option.
  5. Select Delete again to confirm.

Take All of Your Tweets Down on Twitter

On the X app or website, there isn't an official mechanism to remove all of your tweets. However, I did come upon a well-liked third-party program named Redact. You may use it to remove your past posts on Twitter and other social media sites like Yelp, Spotify, Quora, and Slack. The best thing is that the most of the features are free to use and that it can be used on Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS. Let's investigate how to utilize Redact to remove every tweet from X.
  1. Download the Redact app on your preferred platform.
  2. Open the app, select Twitter and then sign in to your Twitter account.
  3. Once signed in, select the Delete Tweets > Next.
  4. Choose your preferences for deleting your post history.
  5. In the Date range, select Absolute Date and All time to delete all of your X posts. The tap on Next at the bottom right.
  1. Now choose your desired option from Preview Mode, Deletion Mode, Preview & Select Mode. This lets you see a preview of your tweets to see which ones will be deleted. We recommend you go with Preview & Select Mode.
  2. Turn on the Terms of Service toggle and hit Start Redacting. On an iPhone, you’ll have to tap on Continue to confirm.
  3. Select the tweets and tap Delete items to wipe them from your timeline.
Ensure that the application remains open in the foreground for the duration required to retrieve and remove all of your articles. Using the links below, you may download the Redact app on your device: That concludes this reading. Most of the time, however, you shouldn't take the extreme approach and delete every tweet you've ever posted—especially if it is your primary account. But these approaches might be helpful if you wish to remove all postings from a burner account. Don't hesitate to leave us a comment if you have any questions about this topic.
