In the middle of the deluge of recently released laptops with Intel Core Ultra CPUs, MSI is also launching a new line of goods. Notably, the MSI Prestige 16 AI Evo and Prestige 13 AI Evo are the first laptops with Core Ultra architecture to be released. Furthermore, it seems that this month, in December 2023, only MSI's laptops will be available for purchase.
The "AI Evo" label is used to sell both the MSI Prestige 16 and Prestige 13. This is a result of Intel's new Core Ultra processors' major focus on artificial intelligence. Up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H may be configured in the notebooks. This is Intel's replacement for the Core i9.
Given the 16-inch size of the MSI Prestige 16 AI Evo laptop, we may anticipate greater power constraints. In terms of construction quality, the chassis is made of aluminium and magnesium. Several new features are introduced with the new Core Ultra chips. These include a new core type called Low Power E-Core, an NPU chip for AI computation, and the Intel Arc integrated graphics. On the other hand, the Prestige 16 AI Studio and regular versions have one Thunderbolt 4 Type-C connector in addition to one standard USB Type-C 3.2 port. This month, or December 2023, is when these new MSI Prestige 13 & 16 AI Evo laptops with Core Ultra CPUs are being released.
