In order to honor Chance Perdomo's legacy, Gen V producers will not recast his character.

Season 4 of The Boys is almost here. with the most current trailer. But as of right now, a program called Gen V that is a spinoff of The Boys has gained popularity. Following Chance Perdomo's untimely death, the Gen V producers just announced that they would not be recasting the role of Andre Anderson for Season 2. The actor was previously meant to be a major player in the Season 2 plot, but it remains to be seen how that would work without him. We are still unsure about his involvement in The Boys Season 4 appearances.

On March 30 of this year, Chance Perdomo tragically lost his life in a motorbike accident. He was 27 years old. Following this revelation, there were rumors that Chance will be replaced for season two of Gen V.

But according to a recent announcement from the Gen V creators, "Everyone at Gen V is determined to find the best way to pay respect to Chance Perdomo's memory as we continue to navigate his tragic loss". They further added:

"Chance cannot be replaced, hence we will not be recasting the position. As filming gets underway in May, we have been using this time and space to rework our Season 2 storylines.

"We will honor Chance and his legacy this season," they said as they concluded their statement. According to the announcement, Gen V season 2 will start filming in late May, a few weeks ahead of The Boys season 4, which premieres on June 13.

Given that Andre Anderson had a significant role in the narrative, let's see how it develops without him.
