Sharing images, movies, or ideas with my Facebook friends has always been enjoyable for me. But eventually these postings become meaningless, if not obnoxious or humiliating. It's possible to go back and remove specific postings, but doing so is time-consuming. The platform allows you to remove several postings at once because of this. Read on to learn how to remove posts from Facebook in bulk if you want to avoid all of this trouble too.
Method 1: Use the Facebook Mobile App to Delete Posts in Bulk
From the Activity log's Manage entries section, you may remove many entries at once. Posts may be filtered here according to their visibility, date, poster, and whether or not you were tagged in them. This is a quick guide to helping you get rid of them.
- Open the Facebook app, and tap your profile picture at the top left.
- On your profile page, tap on the 3-dots icon next to Edit Profile.
- Now go to Manage posts, and then tap on Filters. Adjust them according to your preference.
- Tick the small circle at the top corner of each post to select it.
- Once you have selected the posts, tap on the Trash icon.
- Tap on Delete posts and hit Delete Posts again to confirm.
Using the Facebook mobile app, you may bulk remove posts in this manner. The procedure is the same for the app's iPhone and Android versions.
Method 2: Using the Facebook website, bulk delete posts
Here is a fast rundown of the procedures to remove postings on Facebook in bulk if you are still using the desktop browser, as was the case in the past.
- Head to the Facebook website, and click on your profile picture on the left side.
- On your profile page, click on the Manage posts option.
- Click the Filter option to manage your preferences.
- Then, select the posts that you wish to delete, and click on Next.
- Select Delete posts and then click on Done.
That's all; the posts will vanish from your timeline instantaneously and be erased.
That pretty much concludes this article. Whether you like it or not, we did some very awful things when Facebook was first becoming popular, and it makes me shudder to think back on them.
