Undoubtedly, Intel 14th Gen Meteor Lake has been a breakthrough in mobile CPU technology. Intel changed a lot of things, including the GPU performance, multi- and single-thread CPU speed, and more, in addition to dropping its previous naming convention.
With the official release of Core Ultra, Intel has elevated the quality of its most recent chipsets to provide a more noticeable effect. I eventually obtained an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H via a Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro, and I was quite excited to test this kid. I made the decision to compile several Intel Core 7 155H Ultra benchmarks in order to get more specific information about its performance. This is what I discovered.
Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro
Note that I have compared the chipset with its near AMD equivalent, the Ryzen 7 8845HS, before we start the test. This will enable you to make sense of the statistics that follow. Now that we have that out of the way, let me quickly go over the details of the rig I'm running:

Benchmarks for Intel Core Ultra 7 155H: Three-D Mark
One of the better benchmarks for GPU/CPU performance is 3DMark, so let's start there.CPU Profile The CPU Profile test from 3DMark tests each CPU thread's capacity to withstand stress. The Intel Core Ultra 7 155H earned a total score of 6806 points in Max threads in the 10-minute 3D Mark test. and 16 Threads with 5890. It also achieved a score of 971 points in a single thread, 4584 points in 8 threads, 3077 points in 4 threads, and 1780 points in 2 threads. As of yet, we are unable to get a trustworthy CPU profile score for the Ryzen 7 8845HS. Nevertheless, if and when we do, we'll update this section.3D Spy Time Marker
The integrated GPU capabilities of CPUs are determined by the 3DMark Time Spy score. The Radeon 780M in the Ryzen 7 8845HS earned 2911 points, whereas the Core Ultra 7 155H's Intel Arc iGPU scored 3811 points.Geekbench 6
Geekbench 6 requires more CPU power, while 3D Mark tests the GPU more. Fortunately, the Core Ultra 7 is following closely. The Ryzen CPU got 11355 points in the Multi-Core test, compared to the Intel CPU's 12433 points.Compared to the Intel Core 7 Ultra, I've seen that this has increased by around 8.7%. In the single test, the Ryzen 7 received 2426 points, compared to 2384 for the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H.OpenCL
In Geekbench OpenCL, the Ryzen 7 8845HS' Radeon 780M scored 30174 points, an 11% decrease, while the Core 7 Ultra 155H's Intel Arc Xe iGPU scored 33919 points.Vulkan
The Radeon 780M in the Ryzen 7 8845HS earns 33758 points in the Geekbench Vulkan results, whereas the Intel Arc iGPU in the Core 7 Ultra scored 35427. Thus, the Arc iGPU outperforms the Radeon 780M by 4.8% .Cinebench
I chose to use the 2024 and R23 versions of Cinebench benchmarks, and although the Core Ultra 7 155H lagged somewhat, there wasn't a noticeable difference. The Core Ultra 7 155H earned 1763 points in the Cinebench R23 Single Core test, whereas the Ryzen 7 8845HS scored 1757 points. In the multi-core testing, the Ryzen 7 earned 15930 points, whilst the Core Ultra 7 scored 13103 points.etc.PCMark 10
for Intel Core Ultra 7 155HI used the PCMark 10 benchmark to be sure, even though the 3DMark CPU Profile and Time Spy tests are sufficient to give you a decent understanding of a CPU's capabilities. Three parameters are used in this test to examine a CPU: Digital content creation, productivity, and essentials. Subsequently, a score is assigned appropriately, which eventually influences the PCMark 10 score as a whole.on fact, the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H performed rather well on this test, receiving 6860 points. I consider a CPU to be excellent if it scores more than 5000 points on PCMark 10. Sadly, I was unable to locate the Ryzen 7 8845HS result for this test. I'll be keeping an eye out and updating this page as soon as I find one.CrossMark
The CrossMark test, like PCMark 10, enables us to assess the productivity-side capabilities of CPUs. It provides an overall score based on the factors of Productivity, Creativity, and Responsiveness, which you must take into account. In this test, the Ryzen 7 8845HS receives 1810 points, whereas Intel's Core Ultra 7 155H earns 1674. According to these figures, the latter receives a score that is 8% greater than the former.Power Efficiency of Intel Core Ultra 7 155H
Now that the Core Ultra 7 benchmarks were established, it was time to evaluate the power efficiency of the Core Ultra 7 155H. There was 93% of the laptop's battery remaining when I began the drain test. Here are the Galaxy Book4 Pro settings I used before diving in:- 50% brightness
- Display resolution set to 2880 x 1800
- Color profile set to the default Samsung Settings Auto mode
- Samsung’s proprietary performance mode set to Silent
- Windows’ performance mode set to Balanced
