I have never focused on Devi, an Indian-American student in high school, and her circle of friends—all of whom are the quirky outsiders in their class—before. You get to see a young girl in this series as she makes her way through her emotions and life in general. While not quite a rom-com, this series satisfies all of the requirements. The nicest part about this series is how much it focuses on Devi's romantic life while still including aspects of friendship and life in general. As a whole, watching Never Have I Ever is enjoyable.

Though they don't even know one other's appearance, they progressively begin to feel something for one another via that journal. Watch Dash and Lily even if there is only one season—trust me on this one.

This play adopts a musical approach and, despite its cheesy backdrop, manages to be one of the funniest things I have ever seen.
