Is Rhaenyra in the Books Bisexual? – House of the Dragon
The latest episode of House of the Dragon followed a basic plot until Rhaenyra's sexual orientation left the viewers perplexed. Despite her preference for males as sexual partners from the start, the Targaryen Queen kissed Mysaria in Season 2, Episode 6. Even though the hot encounter was short-lived, readers were left confused, wondering whether Rhaenyra in the novels was bisexual.
No Records of Mysaria and Rhaenyra's Kiss

She was undoubtedly shown in close proximity to the other female characters, such as Daemon's ex-wife Laena Velaryon and Alicent Hightower. She does, however, have heterosexual sexual inclinations. Furthermore, the sequence that baffled viewers in Season 2 of House of the Dragon wasn't copied from the book pages; rather, it was made specifically for the television program.Rhaenyra has recently encountered a great deal of chaos in HOTD. She constantly required someone to lead her since she was an unskilled warrior. Daemon and Rhaenys were providing her with assistance after the death of her father. But Rhaenyra is all alone now that Rhaenys is gone and Daemon has lost contact with her. In this case, it's Mysaria, with whom she has become close, and Rhaenyra may have become fond of her after discovering the White Worm's terrible history with her father. But the affection was excessive.Rhaenyra and Alicent have been close from the beginning; they are often seen cuddling or laying on each other's laps. They didn't seem to be having a passionate time together, unlike Rhaenyra and Mysaria.Daemon can only speak to Rhaenyra via his visions while he is at Harrenhal. In addition, the Targaryen Queen is now too busy to consider having a sexual relationship because of everything going on. Therefore, it's possible that nothing more than a fleeting moment of weakness or physical desire drove her and Mysaria to share a passionate kiss.
