The Boys' Other Powers Were Revealed in Season 4 Episode 8

We got a closer look at the Shapeshifter that we first saw in Episode 7 of The Boys Season 4 Episode 8, also known as the Season Finale. We saw in the last episode that the Shapeshifter had assumed Annie's body and was preparing to murder Roberta Singer Annie is thus to fault. Nevertheless, this episode revealed that Shapeshifter had more abilities than only the ability to assume the shape of whoever she pleases. It was revealed in The Boys Episode 7 that Shapeshifter must physically tear off her skin like a cocoon after touching the person she want to transform into in order to be reborn in that person's form. She is also a mind reader, as The Boys Season 4 Episode 8 revealed. She has the ability to read people's thoughts and discover their memories. When Annie returned to "Recharge" her form, she informed her of this ability.

Naomi Frenette, a stuntwoman for many superhero films like X-Men: Apocalypse and X-Men: Days of Future Past, plays the part of this enigmatic superwoman.
