As they looked for the supe-killing virus, The Boys, Victoria Newman, and Stan Edgar formed an odd partnership in The Boys season 4 episode 5. Nevertheless, they saw cannibalistic lambs and vucked-up chicks instead of the virus. The father of Victoria's daughter Zoey, Sameer Shah, and the person working on the virus disclosed that the virus has been completely eliminated.

Conversely, Hughie's father received an injection of Compound V, which gave him the ability to control events. Compound V, however, caused him to lose his memories, endangering everyone in his vicinity. After a passionate chat, Hughie agreed to euthanize his father since he did not want it for himself.

The Boys and the others use their last dose of the Supe-killing virus to kill the V'd up sheep and escape the farm where they are imprisoned. But because the authorities discovered his severed limb, Sameer was believed to have passed away during this procedure. By the time the episode concluded, it had become clear that Butcher had kidnapped Sameer in order to produce more of the virus that kills Supe and had severed his leg to make it seem as if the sheep had killed him. After seeing the program, viewers were left wondering whether Joe Kessler is genuine or not.
