Even non-gamers are aware of Minecraft's 15th-anniversary celebrations, which are driving everyone insane. There are more out there in addition to the recently released Minecraft TikTok cape and the Twitch cape that you need to claim. It seems that Google has now chosen to join in the party by including a neat easter egg from Minecraft in the search engine! Would you want to play this intriguing interactive Google x Minecraft game? To find out how, continue reading!
How to Open Google's Easter Egg for Minecraft
Start by opening Google and entering "Minecraft" (without capitalization) into the search box. This button, which resembles a block of grass, will now appear at the bottom of the screen. When you click on it, a game akin to Minecraft appears in the browser.
This will make the cursor become a crosshair and display a Steve hand on the right, but only when you hover over certain areas. When this occurs, all you have to do is left-click to see a charming animation of the hand physically ripping the browser apart!
Once the "block" is broken, the backdrop will change to a randomly selected Minecraft snapshot with several blocks in the foreground. To shatter the blocks, click on them. Clicking on a log will provide you with the wooden pickaxe. After that, you may go down the browser page and smash as many blocks as you can.
Mining stone will produce a stone pickaxe after you have the wooden one. To create more sophisticated pickaxes, you may then carry out the same procedure for the iron ore, diamond ore, and even ancient debris further down. In the lower left corner, there's also a score that indicates how many blocks you managed to break.
When playing this Minecraft browser game once you're done violating Google, you may click the X button at the bottom. This will eventually cause the browser to revert to its original state and start a very fantastic animation of a creeper's face rising and blowing out.
This small game has me completely shocked since I didn't think the 15th anniversary would see anything like it. It sums up Minecraft's main gameplay element—breaking blocks—and is entertaining, brief, and charming. That just serves as evidence of how profound an influence Minecraft has, given that the game will still be enormously popular in 2024.
The fact that this is such a great Easter egg for Minecraft's 15th anniversary adds even more grandeur to the celebration! If this isn't enough for you, wear it with the Minecraft creeper cape. Thus, if you haven't already, get started mining or destroying Google right now! Don't spend any more time!
