Three New Features Are Added by WhatsApp to Enhance Audio and Video Calls

With WhatsApp, millions of individuals always stay connected, no matter where they are in their everyday lives. The app has made enhancements to its audio and video call capabilities in addition to texting, and it is now rolling out new features that will greatly enhance your WhatsApp call experience.

They just posted on their blog that new capabilities like screen sharing with audio, which allows you to chat with the person you are sharing your screen with on WhatsApp, will be available soon. This feature was originally mentioned while it was in beta, but it is now publicly accessible. This will be the best choice for educational purposes, group projects requiring collaboration, and social media viewing.

Regardless of the device you are using, you may also add up to 32 participants in a group video call. Thus, presumably, everyone in your old-school WhatsApp group may participate in a video call at the same time. In order to facilitate identification of the speaker and prevent misunderstanding, WhatsApp will now highlight the person who is speaking in a group call.

The WhatsApp team realized that you won't always be in the best of situations while taking calls, so they introduced the MLow codec, which makes audio calls better even on unreliable networks. Calls will sound clearer with less echo and outside noise. Finally, high-quality video calls will be available to those with strong connections.

The aforementioned features are scheduled to be rolled out in the next weeks. Therefore, to access them as soon as possible, make sure you upgrade the WhatsApp app. These additions will greatly enhance the user experience, especially considering how well-liked the app is in developing countries. Additionally, the app may now be utilized for commercial and business uses thanks to these added features.
