Popular Roguelite Hades Joins Netflix in March

With Supergiant Games' Hades, Netflix, the behemoth of streaming, hopes to extend its run of successful game launches. The debut date has now been confirmed by the corporation, which first announced the game for the mobile app last year. And it's being released earlier than anticipated.

The game's release date is mentioned in a recently published teaser by Netflix. On March 19, 2024, Supergiant Games' Hades will release only for iOS. The app's pre-registration link is active. And to check it out, go here. Players will need a paid Netflix subscription of any tier in addition to the fact that Hades and other games in the portfolio are currently exclusive to iOS.

We can also see how the game will appear and function on iOS devices in the latest teaser. The game has on-screen buttons that let you control the main character, much like any other mobile port. For assaults and dodges, there are four distinct buttons. Apart from this, the game's appearance is reminiscent to its first PC and platform release.

Supergiant Games' action roguelite game Hades has received high praise from critics. As the son of Hades, Zagreus, you take on the role of the underworld traveler, attempting to leave your father's dominion in order to reach Olympus and meet your extended family. Every run is unique, and losing your life forces you to start again. The game's storyline and addictive game-loop are its most well-known features.

It is important to note that Netflix intends to use video games in a serious and ongoing manner. Several well-known games, like Spiritfarer, Oxenfree, Kentucky Route Zero, and even the GTA Trilogy, have made their way onto the platform. Even more, the business intends to expand its library of games with undisclosed Assassin's Creed games, Braid, and Katana Zero.
