Is Optifine for Minecraft 1.21 available?
As of this writing, Optifine for the most recent Minecraft 1.21 version is not available for download. You'll have to wait a bit since the mod creator normally takes some time to release this utility for the most recent version.
According to a recent developer post on X, Optifine 1.21 is 70% finished, and fresh update patches are being integrated. Thus, you may follow the official Optifine X account to get notifications when Optifine 1.21 is available.
How to Set Up and Download Optifine

for free.- To download Optifine, visit the Downloads page on the official website linked here.
- Now, click on the “Download” button below the Minecraft 1.21 version. This will bring you to another website showing ads, which you can ignore and click on the “Skip” button after a few seconds in the top right corner.
- Then click on the “Download” button again. This will download a .jar file to your device, which is the Optifine installer.
Get Optifine
- Run the installer, change the destination folder if you want, and click on “Install“. After a couple of seconds, the Optifine will be ready to use.
- Load up Minecraft Launcher and left of the Play button, you’ll see that Optifine is selected. If it is not, simply click on the drop-down menu and select it from there. Then, click on “Play” and enjoy better performance and shader support!
