After Naruto's fight with the primary antagonist of the Boruto series, Isshiki Otsutsuki, Kurama fled the earth. But after that, everyone was cheering for the nine-tailed fox Kurama to rise from the dead and return in a big way. In the follow-up manga Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, we were given a glimpse of hope about Kurama's comeback. Fast forward to the present. And our favorite nine-tailed fox has returned in the most recent chapter. However, how? Was Kurama not killed in Boruto? You could wonder, "How did Kurama come back?" Let's investigate.
The Boruto Series' Death of the Nine-Tailed Fox
We must first review Kurama's death and its reason before learning about his reappearance in the Boruto TBV series. After Kurama's struggle with Isshiki Otsutsuki, his life energy vanished, and Naruto had to pay a high price for using Baryon mode.
After using the Baryon mode, it was first said that Naruto's life was in danger, but in reality, it was the opposite. It was established that Kurama suffered a blow for Naruto during their last moments together.
Kurama's death caused the nine-tailed fox's chakra and abilities to vanish from inside Naruto. In an effort to defend his family and Leaf Village, Naruto lost his abilities after rising to the rank of strongest member of the Uzumaki clan. At the moment, Kawaki imprisoned Naruto and Hinata within the Daikokuten, leaving them trapped inside.
In the Boruto Two Blue Vortex, Kurama Returns from the Dead
With each new chapter, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is living up to the anticipation and fanfare. Fans of Naruto have praised it as a worthy continuation of the first Boruto series. Chapter 9 of Boruto TBV revealed that the nine-tailed fox biju chakra inside Leaf village originated from Naruto's daughter, Himawari Uzumaki.
Himawari was shown to have entered the Mental Plane, where the Jinchuriki may communicate with their corresponding tailed-beast (in this case, the nine-tailed fox).
That it is a mini nine-tailed fox was proven by its appearance. and after seeing Kurama return to the public after more than three years, supporters went into a frenzy. After presenting itself, the nine-tailed fox in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 10 gave an explanation of how it managed to resurrect in Himawari.
For us bijuu (tailed animals), death is not permanent, Kurama remarked. Even if our body and spirit die over time, some part of us will always reappear because we will always sprout someplace.Fans have previously speculated this, and in Boruto TBV chapter 10, it did really come to pass. It is now official that our beloved Kurama is resurrecting as this little form of the nine-tailed fox.Given that Himawari is descended from Uzumaki and Hyuga, who are well-known, Kurama surmised that Himawari may have gotten a piece of the nine-tailed fox's chakra from her father, which is why this resurrection may have occurred. I'm hoping Kishimoto sensei will go into more detail about this in the future.Additionally, Kurama said that Himawari , along with Naruto, has a naturally stronger affinity to Kurama's chakra than any previous tailed beast. This is a significant turning point in the story for all the characters, especially Himawari, who is now able to use the power of the nine-tailed fox to surpass her father (implied). They were ultimately unable to talk about this more since Jura intervened with the intention of eating Himawari in order to get Kurama's chakra. Jura's power piercing Inojin served as the trigger for Naruto's daughter to use in order to unleash the Initial Jinchūriki Form, much as Naruto did. Additionally, Kurama said that Himawari completely lost it, and that when the next chapter is published in June, the two of them would wildly wreak havoc.Nevertheless, Kurama is back in the Boruto series and very much alive. This day, which we always knew was inevitable, has now here. For now, we'll have to wait for the publication of the next chapter to find out additional details about Himawari and the nine-tailed fox's relationship.
