Check Your Spotify History on iOS and Android
As of right now, the Spotify mobile app for iOS and Android are the same, thus the procedure for seeing your listening history is also the same. Now that we've cleared it up, here are the procedures to follow:
- Once you open the Spotify app on your phone, locate and tap on your profile icon at the top left corner.
- Here, you will see the dedicated Listening History tab.
- Upon tapping on it, you will see all the tracks and albums that you’ve been listening to on Spotify.
View Your PC's Spotify Listening History
With Spotify's online player or desktop software, you can see your listening history on a PC as well. So, here's how to proceed if you're on any of those:
- When on the Spotify web player or desktop app, head over to your Spotify Home page.
- Here, you will find the Recently played section with a Show All button adjacent to it. Click on it.
- All that you have been listening to on the platform will show up instantly on the page.
Regretfully, it is not possible to erase your Spotify listening history and start again. That feature was available in the Spotify desktop client years ago, but it is no longer available. We also observed that Spotify's listening history is not consistently synced throughout the platforms. Thus, not every song or album loads.

No. You are unable to see how many times you have listened to a song on Spotify. All you can see is a track's total view count, which is shown just beneath. Use third-party services like Last.fm, stats.fm, and similar ones to get additional statistics from your Spotify account.
You may halt Spotify for six hours, but you cannot remove your listening history from your own account. To do this, go to Settings and privacy, Privacy and social, Private Session, and then press on the profile symbol on the mobile app. A Private Session requires reactivation after its six-hour duration of activation.
